TRANSITION/ FINISH AREA
The transition area will be comprised of one transition area with fenced off bike racks where racers leave their bike and gear. Racers return to the transition area after each portion of the triathlon to prepare for the next portion of the race. The Finish line and medical tent will be adjacent to the transition area.
Swim will be in the South County outdoor pool. 200 meter for super sprint and 400 meters for the Sprint.
Bike - see map below. Sprint is 3 loops, 15 miles, Super sprint is 1 loop.
Run is 3.1 for Sprint, 1.55 for Super Sprint.

Packet Pickup:
Packet Pick up will be located at The South County Pool, 12765 S 1125 W, Riverton, UT 84065, on July 8th from 6 - 8pm & July 9th (race morning) from 6 - 7am. Your packet will contain a bib to be worn on the run, and sticker for your bike. Racks will have corresponding bike stickers for racking bikes. Timing Chips will be available race morning.

Race Day Schedule:
07:00 am - Transition opens (only athletes and parents in transition please)
08:00 - Athlete briefing on pool deck
08:20 - Swim start Sprint
08:30 - Swim start Super Sprint
10:30- Awards Ceremony (approximate time)
Aid Stations: There will be an aid station at the transition area and an aid station at mile 1.5 on the run. Aid stations will have Water, Gatorade endurance and fruit snacks.
Restrooms: Restrooms will be available at the South County Pool the entirety of the event.
Relay Team procedures: Relay team participants will exchange their timing chip at the bike rack. All team members may send off their swimmer at the side of the pool. Once the swimmer finishes their swim and reaches the bike rack in transition, they will transfer their chip to the waiting biker who will then unrack their bike and exit transition. Upon returning from the bike, the biker will rack their bike, then transfer the chip to the waiting runner who will then exit transition. Only the runner will cross the finish line.
Awards:
Awards for the overall top three male and female winners. This is a USAT certified event and top racers in each age group will be eligible to qualify for Age Group Nationals. The number of qualifying spots is determined by the number of athletes in each age group.
Finish Line Area:
We will have several sponsors and partners in the finish line area. Please take a moment or two to visit them and thank them for their support. Finisher Medals, and Athlete Food will be available in the finish line area. If you are meeting friends or family members after the race, please move away from the finish line after receiving your medal to avoid congestion.
Weather:
Temperatures can be from 70 -90degrees on race day. The morning will be cool, so dress appropriately for transition set up. Being a sprint, and a fast course you won't be exposed long so take that into consideration.
